No. The app works fully offline. Cash payments process instantly. Card payments queue and sync automatically when connectivity returns.
The cashier and kitchen iPads connect over your local WiFi or iPhone hotspot using peer to peer networking. No internet required between the two devices.
Cash, Stripe Terminal Tap to Pay, Square Reader, and any external card terminal with manual confirmation. Most operators use cash plus one card option.
Yes. Select Square Reader as your payment method. The app records the payment and prompts your staff to charge on the Square hardware separately.
All data is stored locally on your device using SQLite. Payment processing goes through Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. We never store card numbers.
